Jocelyn Ronquillo ( Paralegal)
Jocelyn Ronquillo is a passionate and dedicated legal professional with over five years of experience in criminal defense. A proud New Mexico native, she brings both legal expertise and a heart for service to her role at the firm, supporting the pursuit of justice with professionalism, integrity, and compassion.
Jocelyn holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Spanish and a Master of Public Administration (MPA), both from the University of New Mexico. Her academic path reflects a dual passion for understanding government systems and uplifting underserved communities. Being bilingual in English and Spanish, she is especially committed to helping bridge the gap for clients from immigrant and non-English-speaking backgrounds—ensuring they feel heard, respected, and informed.
With a deep-rooted desire to support immigrants and marginalized individuals, Jocelyn is driven by more than legal process—she is motivated by people’s stories, challenges, and resilience. Her long-term ambition is to gain the knowledge and tools to help others navigate and overcome complex barriers, particularly in situations where hope or clear solutions may seem out of reach. This mindset informs her daily work, whether she is supporting a case behind the scenes or walking alongside someone in a moment of legal or personal difficulty.
Beyond her legal career, Jocelyn is a dedicated leader in her faith community. She serves as a head leader of the Young Adults group at One Body Fellowship, a church based in Albuquerque’s South Valley. Her ministry work is a central part of her life, where she mentors and encourages young adults in their spiritual, personal, and professional journeys. This role allows her to guide others through transformative seasons in life, often supporting them as they navigate uncertainty with purpose and resilience.
Jocelyn’s work in ministry and law reflects a shared foundation of empathy, responsibility, and service. She leads with compassion and confidence in every space she enters—whether supporting clients, guiding young leaders, or standing beside those who feel overwhelmed by the systems around them.

Princesa Espinoza ( Paralegal)
Princesa Espinoza currently serves as a Paralegal at Padilla Law. She is pursuing a degree in Criminology at Central New Mexico Community College (CNM), reflecting her deep interest in the justice system and her commitment to making a meaningful impact in the field.Outside of her academic and professional responsibilities, Princesa has a strong passion for photography, which allows her to express her creativity and appreciation for life’s moments. She enjoys spending time with her friends, attending church, and engaging in activities that bring joy and connection. Known for her kindness, intelligence, and sense of humor, Princesa brings warmth and positivity to those around her. She is often recognized for her compassionate nature and her ever-present smile.In her free time, Princesa values quality time with her family, moments of solitude in spiritual reflection, and meaningful connections with her close friends. One of Princesa’s greatest goals is to travel around the world to help people in need. Her favorite Bible verse to start her day is Isaiah 41:10 : “ Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your god; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand..”.
